Water Purification System Troubleshooting


Dear Consumer:

The following table includes the most common problems and faults which may be seen in device performance. In probable causes column, the most important causes of defaults are expressed in priority order and in amending action the way of troubleshooting are explained.


Note:

This table has only been printed for improving your information of technical problems of device. Troubleshooting and repairing Aquajoy water purification device need technical and specialized experience and skill. We recommend you to not take action for troubleshooting yourself when a problem occurs; instead call an after-sale services center of Aquajoy. Otherwise, the company will have no responsibility against damages which may be sustained to your device.

Output water disconnect or water expel with low pressure

Input valve is closed.

Shut-off valve on the tank is in close status.

Air pressure in tank is under appropriate pressure.

Solenoid valve is out of service.

Pretreatment filters are tightened.

Pump does not supply necessary pressure.

The membrane has been tightened.

Open valve.

Open valve.

Measure air pressure by gauge. Adjust it if it wasn’t between 10 to 12 PSI.

Test solenoid valve.

Replace filters.

Replace pump.

Unpleasant flavor of purified water or high TDS of purified water

Expiry of final carbon filter

Expiry of carbonic filters (pre-filters)

Expiry of device membrane

Obstruction or appropriate non-exit of sewage water

Replace filter.

Replace filters.

Replace membrane (in case of early expiry check the reason)

Eliminating obstruction in sewage output.

Pump doesn’t work

Device transformer is out of service.

The incoming water pressure is low.

Low pressure switch off is defected.

High pressure switch off is defected.

Pump is defected.

Test the transformer and replace it if necessary.

Minimize incoming water pressure up to 3.4 bar.

Emit switch from circuit. If pump starts working (if incoming water pressure is at least 3.4bar) replace the switch.

Emit the switch from circuit. If pump starts working, adjust or replace the switch.

Replace pump.

The device turns on and off alternately and makes clack noise

Incoming water pressure is low.

High pressure switch needs adjustment or replacement.

Low pressure switch is defected.

Air pressure inside the tank is low.

Minimize incoming water pressure up to 3.4bar.

Test the switch, if necessary, adjust or replace it.

Test the switch, if necessary, adjust or replace it.

 

Device sewage flows continuously in all hours

Solenoid valve is defected.

Elbow check valve is defected.

Test the said solenoid valve and replace it if necessary.

Check the valve and replace it if necessary.

The device is on but sewage doesn't flow

Sewage restrictor has been tightened.

Replace the restrictor.

Device pump works non-stop

High pressure switch is defected.

Air pressure inside the tank is low.

Test the switch and replace it if necessary.

Minimize the pressure up to 10-12 PSI.

The output water is opalescent or has tiny bubbles.

Air existing in system

High pressure of under pressure tank

Air existing in system is normal at the beginning of installation and bubbles will be disappeared after 1 or 2 weeks.

Measure tank pressure by gauge and adjust it if necessary.
